Neighborhood

The bay is a tranquil place off the grid in Baja Sur. The town of Mulege is 20 minutes North, Loreto is 90 minutes south. We recommend stocking up on groceries at either of these places as the bay only has one small tienda (store) with your basic needs (chips, soda, bread, tortillas, etc)

We recommend

-Stocking up on groceries at either of these places as the bay only has one small tienda (store) with your basic needs (chips, soda, bread, tortillas, etc)

-Stopping at any ATM in Loreto or Santa Rosalia (depending on which direction you're coming from) as Mulege does not have one

The bay has 7 restaurants so if you don’t feel like cooking, you don’t have to!

Pollo Berthas $ - (located just up our road 2 min walk) is known for their delicious pollo asado and coconut shrimp

JCS restaurante $ - (located up the highway 1/5 km on the left of El Burro Beach) known for their seafood, burgers and full bar (strong margaritas)

Nomadico cafe & brunch $$ - (located on the north end of Burro beach) these girls know their coffee, and the menu is seasonal based on fresh local ingredients. Fast service. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu.

Donkey Restaurante $ - (located on the south end of Burro beach)not only do they have a beautiful view from any seat in the place they are known for their large menu of delicious items such as diablo shrimp, papagallos, milanesa and our favorite the fajitas!

Armandos $ - (located on santispac beach) beautiful view of the bay, great seafood soup and seafood cocktails

Anas Restaurante $ - (located on santispac beach) large menu with lots to choose from

Buenaventura - $$ (located on Buenaventura beach) known for their taco tuesday specials

Transport

We highly recommend having a car. Whether you drive to us or fly to loreto and rent a car, though it is doable without a car we’ve had plenty of guests without just be ready to walk!

It’s best to have a car to get the full experience, we recommend booking.com for car rentals.

There is a taxi and bus service if needed.
